Kalki 2898 AD Movie Story Line
The last known city on Earth is Kasi, a desertified metropolis from 2898 AD. The god-king Supreme Yaskin, who sits in the “Complex,” an upside-down pyramidal megastructure hovering over the city, is the head of an authoritarian elite that rules it.
The narrative takes place across several millennia, starting with the events of the Mahabharata in 3102 BC, which signalled the beginning of the Kali Yuga, and ending in 2898 AD, against a backdrop that combines ancient Indian Hindu mythology with a dystopian civilization. The story revolves around the appearance of Kalki, the mysterious tenth and last avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu.
Kalki Reviews
The Sci-Fi Action Experience #Kalki2898AD is bigger than life. Nag Ashwin has created world-building and images that have never been seen in Indian cinema. With a relatively bland screenplay, Nag Ashwin, however, demonstrates some inexperience in creating a proper drama and emotional connection.
